Lapwing-shaped gingerbread with the residents of Podlasie
As part of the project promotion, we bake lapwing-shaped gingerbread with the residents of Podlasie. This year, we chose the Narew Library and the Trześcianka branch of the library as the venue.
It was very pleasant to meet with the youth, children, and adult residents of these places located in the Narew Valley.
It's wonderful to see children express themselves artistically by creating figures of Koniks, cows, frogs, and lapwings, and then coloring them with icing. Of course, a lot of icing ends up in their mouths.
It's great fun, and in the process, residents get to know us, we get to know the residents, and we tell them about the waders, Polish Koniks and red cows that we protect.
