Spring is in full swing in our meadows in the Narew Valley.
We are thrilled to report that we have discovered over 30 lapwing nests, as well as nests of redshanks and three of pintails. A very pleasant surprise:) They are an extremely rare breeding species in Poland and face the threat of extinction
The nests were found by TP Dubelt colleagues during their monitoring activities.
Furthermore, our pastures are bustling with all of duck species: northern shovelers, widgeons, pintails, tufted ducks, common pochards, goldeneyes, garganeys, common teals, as well as a flock of whooper swan, flocks of common snipes, black-tailed godwits (we hope they will stay), common greenshanks.
