On our bird meadows in the Gródek area we have all the dam gates closed on the drainage ditches — we have been collecting water since the end of February.
After the recent snowstorms, the drainage ditches have filled up and we have some pretty large ponds in the meadows.
On 8 April, among others, we observed:
shovelers
garganeys
Eurasian teals
mute swans
common shelducks
northern lapwing
black-tailed godwits
redshanks
ruffs
common starlings and Eurasian skylarks
